Neem tree - pest control and benefits of Agriculture

Pesticides made from worms can build immunity to crops without harming the environment.

Neem tree can be said to be the village pharmacy. neem leaf, berry, fruit, seed, root, flower, and bark play an important role in Ayurveda and Unani medicine. All parts of the neem have medicinal properties. Also, various parts of the neem are used as insecticides. Ingredients like leaf, nut, oil, and cake act as herbicides. Contributes greatly to natural agriculture and organic farming and crop protection. The bitter chemical azadirachtin in neem and other substances such as salmon and millennial also control pests. Of these, 5% neem extract, 5-12% neem cake, and 0.5-1% neem oil can be used for crop protection. This will help in controlling the juice-sucking insects and leaf-eating worms. These chemicals repel pests from laying eggs on crops and prevent them from laying eggs. Crops sprayed with neem material will avoid being eaten by worms. Also, the growth of small-eating worms can be affected and die.

uses of neem

Controls sap-sucking species and leaf-eating worms that attack paddy, lentils, cotton, vegetable, and fruit trees. If sprayed 3 or 4 times at intervals of fifteen days as required, it will give good results. Furthermore, the biological system plays an important role in pest management. This will enable the crop to develop immunity without any harm to the environment, without destroying the beneficial pests, and without poisoning the sprayed crops.

Preparation of insect repellents from neem

Neem seed solution 5 percent (per 100 liters) Ingredients:

Neem (well dried) 5 kg, 100 liters of water, 200 g of khadi soap, linen. Grind the well-dried neem nuts and soak them in 10 liters of water overnight. Then mix it well. When mixed, the solution turns milky white. Drain the well-mixed solution with a thin cloth, then dissolve the khadi soap in the solution and mix well and spray on the plants. Things to keep in mind: Vampire fruits can be collected at the right season, dried in the shade, and stored. Avoid neem for more than eight months and always use freshly collected ones. It is better to spray freshly prepared neem solution. Spraying this solution in the evening can increase the effectiveness of pest control. It will be beneficial for the farmers to be aware of this and act accordingly.

Neem leaves :

One acre of crop requires 10 to 12 kg of leaves for spraying. Tear off the leaf one by one and wrap it in a bundle of rags. Then, soak the bundle in a pot of 20 to 24 liters of water overnight. Then, this solution should be filtered. Then 15 to 17 liters of the solution are available. 500 - 1,000 ml per tank (10 liters). Can be used up. I.e. 500 - 1,000 ml. Mix the solution with 9 liters of water and spray. 100 ml with a tank solution. Sprinkle with khadi soap solution. Khadi soap solution (10 ml per 1 liter) increases the viscosity of the plant solution. Spray up to 10 tanks per acre of crop. This solution will remain ketamine for about a month.

 Neem cake:

The neem cake should be put in hairpins and placed in the gutters where the water goes. Doing so has the potential to dissolve the neem cake evenly with the water entering the field. This will prevent pests, diseases, and pests from invading the roots of the crop. Crops get pest and disease resistance.

pesticides being prepared on the neem

Its use is increasing as awareness of pesticides made from neem, neem extract, and neem fruit has increased. The market value of the neem-based pesticide industry is estimated at Rs 100 crore. The sector is growing at 7-9 percent per annum, according to a study released by Exim Bank.

Neem to control pests

Farmers often use pesticides to control pests. Excessive use of pesticides not only harms beneficial insects such as mites, moths, trap beetles, ground beetles, spiders, wasps, bees, etc. but also affects the environment. Repeated spraying of pesticides makes the insect-resistant to the pesticides. Not only this, with the help of fire you can do welding. Thus, humans, their animals, and birds are susceptible to various diseases. So scientists and researchers are doing research with more interest in naturally controlling pests. Neem is one of the most widely researched trees in the world. Although its components such as leaves, flowers, seeds, and bark play an important role in controlling pests, neem also plays an important role in integrated pest management. Neem has been found to control 350 species of insects, 15 species of fungi, 12 species of nematodes, 2 viruses, and 2 species of snails. People call it the universal remedy, natural gift, miracle tree, and village medicine because all the parts of the neem tree are used by the people. Azadirachtin is the cause of vampire bitterness. Azadirachtin controls about 550 species of insects. These not only prevent the insects from eating the crop but also prevent the insects from laying eggs and the young insects from coming out of the eggs. It also affects the growth of insects. These affect the developmental changes of insects such as moths, butterflies, beetles, coon beetles, flies, ants, wasps, wasps, locusts, cockroaches, and termites. Azadirachtin is also used to control flies, ticks, lice, and spiders that can transmit diseases to humans and animals.

Crops:

Spraying of neem oil 1 percent (10 ml-liter) or neem extract 5 percent solution on paddy reduces the infestation of leaf curl worms. The growing season of tobacco is affected by spraying a 5% solution of neem nut juice. And changes in its shape and weight. Neem oil (3 percent) protects rice from radiation attacks by pests. Spraying neem juice or neem oil (5 percent) in chickpeas greatly reduces the infestation of nematodes. It has been found that spraying a mixture of azadirachtin reduces the risk of thrush by up to 90 percent. Neem juice reduces aphid infestation in pods and aphids in flat crops. Neem-based medicines play an important role in controlling leaf borer in groundnut. Research shows that regular consumption of leaves sprayed with neem oil and neem juice reduces the red woolly worm in groundnuts.

Benefits:

Neem and neem-based products do not cause any harm to the environment. Neem does not kill insects. Rather they affect the growing season of the insects. These do nothing to the beneficial insects, animals, birds, fish, and bees. Insects do not develop resistance to neem-based substances. It can also be sprayed in combination with synthetic drugs. Neem is readily available and the price of neem-based medicines is very low. Therefore, in integrated pest management, neem and related drugs can be used to control pests without harming nature and without harming the beneficial insects and make more profit.
