Vegetable grow within the compound

Home gardening ideas part-2

Focus on the shadow net

When placing the bucket filled with soil on the floor, do not place it directly on the floor. Three bricks can be assembled like a stove and placed on it. The pots can be placed on a long wooden plank when a lot of pots are lined up. Greens need a temperate climate to grow. During the hot summer months, shade nets should be set above the lettuce pots during the day. In the evening you can remove the bandage. If you use a shade net in summer, you can get a high yield. In a 10-liter oil bucket, yield 5 kg of lettuce. The tarpaulin pavilion can be set up to prevent water stagnation during the rainy season.

Eggshell

The terrace garden is often free of pests. If so, mix a little salt with egg yolk and put a ring around the bucket to keep the insects away.

Vegetable within the compound!

This is an area where you can learn the techniques needed to grow non-toxic vegetables at home. Here are some tips and tricks that people with experience in home gardening can share. “Three types of crops can be cultivated in the terrace garden, namely plant, vine, and tuber. Vegetable plants including eggplant, chili, tomato, curry leaves, and cauliflower should be planted in the nursery. For this, you need to set up separate nursery tanks. Herbs such as lettuce, beans, coriander, beans; Vines, including bagel, sorghum, birch, and zucchini; Underground soil growing vegetables like beetroot, radish, and carrot can also be produced by direct seeding. Fill the bucket required for the nursery with compost and sprinkle water evenly over the seeded treated vegetable seeds.

Tomato

On the 10th day after sowing tomato seeds in the nursery, mix 30 ml of Panchakavya solution in one liter of water and pour it on the root area. This is essential for the seedling to grow well. Tomato seedlings should be taken and transplanted within 25 days of sowing. Tomatoes should be planted in pots or wooden boxes 3 feet high. If the soil is nutritious, plant two seedlings, and if the box is longer, plant more seedlings as appropriate. Adequate spacing is essential. Tomatoes can be harvested from the 60th day after planting. Yields continuously for 60 days. In between, apply 500 g of vermicompost on top. If there is pest infestation, mix 5 ml of neem oil in 100 ml of khadi soap solution and spray like smoke only during the flowering season. In this way, the juice-sucking insects and aphids will not be touched. Spraying the same solution once during the dry season will prevent infestation.

Harvest throughout the year

Tomatoes are prone to breakage due to weight loss. To prevent this, the bearing sticks in the pot should be planted and attached to the plant. Yield can be up to 3 kg per plant if maintained well. If tomatoes are needed daily, the three seasons of nursery, sick, and harvest can be designed to be available at the same time throughout the year. For this, it is necessary to increase the number of tanks.

Eggplant

The roots of the scissors can go deep. Therefore, it is best to use Sintex barrels that are 4 feet high. Seedlings of 40 days old seedlings should be planted in pots and mixed with irrigation water. Since the plant is spreading and branching, two seedlings can be planted in a pot and another seedling can be transplanted on the 25th day leaving a good seedling. Eggplants are harvested on the 100th day after planting. If topped twice a month, it will yield up to 250 days. Apply 500 g of vermicompost once in a while. When required, half a kilo of goat manure or fodder can be given. Worm infestation occurs during the fruiting season. Squeeze equal amounts of ginger, garlic, and tobacco and mix them together in half a liter of cow urine. If cow urine is not available, mix in 250 ml whey. In addition, add 200 ml of khadi soap solution, soak for two days, and filter. Spray like smoke to moisten the whole plant well. Spraying this solution once during the flowering season and four times during the fruiting season will prevent nematode infestation. Pick quality pods. From one plant, at least 6 kg of pods can be harvested if well maintained.

Chili

Chili seedlings 40 to 50 days old can be planted. It can be planted in buckets with a capacity of 20 liters. Comes sick in three months. To be continued Will give a good yield for up to 10 months. Flag crops! On the floor, nylon ropes should be tied horizontally. Crops such as bagel, birch, sorghum, and sorghum can be cultivated by filling a bucket with a capacity of 10 liters each. If the flag is not picked up on the 35th day and spread on a small bundle-like rope, the pods will hang from the 120th day. It is enough to spread the flag rate of one raga. Fertilizer management and pest management can all be done as for the previous crops. Underground soil crops including radish, beetroot, carrot, onion can be planted at suitable intervals by filling the required soil mixture in clay and plastic buckets. As for the home garden  water management, fertilizer management, pest management are all the same for all crops. Set the lamp in the center of the terrace with a soap solution, and if the lamp is lit at night  it can kill the insects that come from outside, “Through home gardening, we can produce non-toxic vegetables for our family. You can get all the vegetables in all seasons. Get good exercise too. The mind will be refreshed. Air pollution does not enter the house. Cool in the house. My desire is to have a home garden with so many benefits in every home, ”he said.

Earthworm compost on the floor!

Fill the crop leaf litter and vegetable waste in a small plastic barrel and fill it with half the amount of green manure. If watered daily, you will get coffee bean-colored earthworm manure in three months. It can be used as fertilizer for plants. This is a good fertilizer with nitrogen. If the waste is regularly dumped in barrels, we can make our own earthworm compost for the home garden throughout the year.

Great fall plant ideas for a colorful garden

Great fall plant ideas Fall is a great time to have fun with warm and colorful container gardens. Incorporate different colors and textures, use perennials or try some cold-loving annuals. By grouping containers, you can change the look of an entire area—whether it's a deck, stoop, or patio. You can move containers around to change the appearance of the group. This is especially handy when popular fall plants like asters and mums start to fade. You can easily move them outside and display your best looking containers. 1. Snapdragons and Nemesia Add some fun to your fall container garden with snapdragons (Antirrhinum majus), which look like candy corn. Nemesia 'Bluebird' contrasts beautifully with the brown and orange snapdragons in this flower arrangement. And while 'Crown Red' snapdragons add a little pop, meadow leatherleaf sedge (Carex buchananii) pulls it all together. 2. The problem is that vinegar and oil kill quickly By burning the tops of a plant, they don't kill the entire plant, so the weeds grow back on the roots. Of course, very small plants can be killed completely, but this is the exception rather than the rule. A final The problem with vinegar and oil is that they are extremely dangerous to a

Most difficult perennials to grow 'Some perennials often considered difficult to grow require the right conditions and some patience to fully enjoy their beauty,' 'Some plants I classify as the gold of perennials - they must be successful. Too hot or too cold, too wet or too dry, too much sun or too much shade, and they cannot survive or thrive. 1. Bearded iris Although bearded iris is one of the oldest and most well-known perennials, there are some common problems that can make it challenging to grow. "Root rot is a common problem with bearded iris, caused by planting too deep or where the soil doesn't drain well," says horticulturist Katie Sunderlage. ‘To avoid root rot, it is important to plant the rhizome 1-2 inches below the surface of well-drained soil, adding organic matter if needed. These majestic garden plants are also susceptible to insect and disease problems, particularly leaf spot, iris borer and aphids. Katie continues, 'To prev
